Next to the pet paw, the dog bone may be the most universal symbol of all things canine. I’ve seen a number of jewelry creations rendered in this design recently. One of my favorites is the magic zoo dog bone charm that manages to actually look graceful hanging on a charm bracelet. Imagine that, a sterling silver bone! It just goes to show that almost anything can be beautiful if it’s well made. The magic zoo artist seems to have been around forever; I used to see her at art shows in the 1990s, but she seems to have graduated to the Internet. Good for her! Continue reading →
